Music for Fun!
This FREE live music interactive group is meant for seniors to find joy in music-making in a positive social setting that encourages incorporating music experiences into your daily life.

Location: Chardon Senior Center
Time: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Monthly: 2nd Friday of every ODD month
Upcoming Dates: May 10; July 12; September 13; November 8

Piano Lessons

It’s never too late to learn how to play the music you love! Private individual lessons are adapted to your learning style and desires for a most rewarding and successful experience.

Location: Willoughby Senior Center
Time: 30 minutes lessons offered most Fridays between 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Minimum 2 lessons per month

Location: Kirtland Senior Center
Time: 30 minutes lessons offered on the first and third Tuesdays each month between 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Piano Partners – a summer program for older adults + children

Sound Inspirations Music Therapy is offering a new opportunity for sharing the joy of music this summer: a 4-week Piano Partners lesson program featuring fun inter-generational learning activities, taught by one of our most experienced piano teachers, Karen. These combined 30-minute piano lessons are designed for adults to share a learning experience with a child partner in a beginner piano lesson focusing on music fundamentals at the piano together. Children must have already completed kindergarten, and adults must be KSC members. No prior music experience is needed!

Location: Kirtland Senior Center
Dates: Wednesdays, July 10, 17, 24, and 31 of 2019
Time: 30-min lessons from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30a.m.
Kirtland Senior Center members: Pay $120 in full to register.

Registration deadline: June 27th 2019, minimum enrollment required.

Lunch & Live Music
Kirtland Senior Center hosts a luncheon for their members featuring LIVE patriotic piano music by Lucille Cimino, piano instructor.

Kirtland Senior Center members event: $10 due by 5/22/19

Health Fair
Come visit our table and learn more about us and the benefits of music therapy. Health screenings will be provided by University Hospitals. Purchase raffle tickets to win prizes provided by each of the vendors. Proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association Longest Day.

Connecting Through Music
Lucille Cimino of Sound Inspirations Music Therapy provides LIVE music for the group experience during the last week of this program offering at Mentor Senior Center on 6/25/19. Register through Mentor Senior Center for this FREE 6-week program for caregivers and loved ones with memory challenges.

Gloria’s Way Memory Cafe – Music of the 1940’s
We invite you to join in this monthly social program at the Beachwood Community Center.  The program is on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 10:30a – 12pm.  It’s free and open to anyone in the early stages of memory loss and their caregivers. This June, Lucille Cimino of Sound Inspirations Music Therapy provides LIVE music as part of an interactive group experience including a review of music from the 1940’s.

  • Geauga Memory Cafe

    Sponsored by the Geauga County Department on Aging, this event aims to provide a supportive environment for both you and your loved one with memory issues. Adults with dementia often experience a loss in fun interactions with those they love, and in turn, their family members also miss the relaxing times they spent “hanging out” and having fun.
